Robert Capa, as Carter-Bresson is a legend for any photojournalist or simply photo amateur, as me. His lost negatives have been found. There are, among others, the negatives of the so called “Falling soldier”. the NYT has an article sayng a lot of about the story.

Have a cup of chess

Remembering my past as a chess player thought for a while about the nights when, as a student, used to play chess online. I lerned a lot of things. How to wait, how to attack, how to win, how to lose. Now I found this. Just tried a match against a canadian player and won. It’s nice, they try to push te audience not only to match but also to watch the other play, they try to make chess a sport like soccer: wanna play ? Fine. Wanna watch ? Fine as well.

Chi xxxx a capodanno, xxxx tutto l’anno! Wow. In questo momento l’allegro proverbietto, summa della stupidita’ popolare, come chiosava un noto scienziato, per me suona proprio come una cosa scomoda… Che tento di esorcizzare, felicemente irrazionale, scrivendone. Ah, di apotropaico ho deciso di allegare un mazzo di quadrifogli… Hoping for the best!
