Meno male che c’e’ il sole

Meno male che oggi c’e’ il sole. Mi dicono che sono come mio nonno Natale. Quando c’era una stanza buia lui insisteva, comunque, per avere piu’ luce. La luce uggiosa e frenata di una giornata nebbiosa non credo mi attrarra’ mai, anche se so che la bruma esercita, a volte, un certo fascino. Mi ricordo un pomeriggio grigio dalle parti di Alba, aveva anche piovuto da poco, ma li’ c’era una bella atmosfera e un bell’odore, ma devi essere di buon umore per potertene rallegrare. Oggi non sono di buon umore. Neanche di cattivo, se per quello. Ma oggi non la avrei sopportata una giornata senza sole. Meno male che oggi c’e’ il sole.

My Mac

The Mac is here. I’ve been using it for a while. It’s wonderful. It speeds up the work, and the fun too. Two nights ago I made a rush to deliver a project. The first rush with Mac. And it’s fast, even faster! My favourite cat is Tiger, at present. I’ll wait for a while before Leopard. Mac, cool at glance, cooler when you use it.

Crossing a road in Sicily

Odd place to return to. Everything is smooth, quiet. Too much. No rush even when you see a pedestrian crossing the road, he doesn’t gaze at you, you only see his back. Someone could think he trusts the whole world. Nothing like that. He trusts the fact you will stop for him because you look after him because you respect him. Things get complicated, isn’t it ?

I’m pretty engaged on a nearly-roleplay-game involving vampires and werewolves fighting each other. Funny, at present I’m an ugly vampire – Algomanerius – going around to get blood and gold, stealing gold pieces from werewolves and working in a cemetery as lawnmower man!

Mac, where are you ?

My MacBook doesn’t arrive. I’m pretty nervous… I spend a lot of free time surfing on mac sites, wondering what software is better for that task and thinking how cool is a mac… But here the local store says that no matter how impatient I am I’ve to wait. Because apple says the mac is arriving the day before (!!!) the mac has to be delivered! Hope it will arrive for my birthday… on 21st… Woa!

Load balancing

I tried a software load balancer balanceNG and it seems very interesting. I made a test dummy in my vmware workstation environment and all seems working as a breeze. Is the end for hardware balancers ? A test in production environment will say it..
